United Arab Emirates: Dubai Police force recently updated that the people of the country and all the visitors are welcome to explore and experience the proud history of the world-class Police of Dubai.
Dubai Police department urges tourists to visit the ‘Dubai Police museum, which was opened in 1987 and preserved the rich culture and history of the UAE.
The museum holds significant memories and artefacts which reflect the prosperous past of Dubai’s Military and significantly recognized achievements by the security forces.
The museum was built in the Al Fahidi Fort, considered one of the oldest in the United Arab Emirates. It is recognized as one of the favourite destinations for tourists interested in gaining deep knowledge and wanting to learn more about Dubai’s Defence forces.
The museum showcases various chapters of the history, including the journey of development and growth of Dubai Police and law enforcement services.
Dubai Police Museum aims to form better relationships with the people by conveying their history and making it available for the general public, including historical documentation, all-time achievements, authentic records and much more.
Furthermore, it is an excellent way of maintaining transparency between the security forces and the country’s general public. People can get educated and aware of the methods and code of conduct of their police and how they maintain law and order to serve the county.
The museum includes various sections, including several galleries, halls, exhibitions, and more. Each compartment holds its different category, as vintage and antique photographs are placed in the art and hall galleries related to the historical incidents. Several exhibitions display other weapons and equipment used by force in the past.
As per the reports, some of the equipment and weapons date back to 1956, which was the time when the force initially came into existence.
Moreover, the visitors can also enjoy the display of Technological equipment and computers imported and used by force back then, which were considered the latest tech of that time.
Several primary attractions of the place included handmade items made by the inmates In Dubai prisons. Inside the Al Fahidi Fort, visitors can enjoy various other galleries in the southwestern corner, which display vintage and old maps of the country.
The next room in the line is called ‘Video Room’ which includes video documentation of the time before the discovery of the ‘Oil’ in 1960s Dubai. Visitors can enjoy their time learning about the rich heritage related to the Dubai police, which improves their relationship deeper.
