Jordan: The Directorate for the BigData Criminal Investigation has recently organized a Data Management Project (BigData) under the sponsorship of the Jordan Security Director General Obaidullah Al-Mawaita. The ceremony was attende by the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Jordan Kim Dong-ji, and the accompanying delegation.
As per the reports, the Big Data Project aims to strengthen public security capacities through an advanced technological system for the collection and analysis of data in the field of crime prevention.
In addition to this, the projecta also focuses on the provision of security and humanitarian services in the light of benefiting from digital transformation and artificial intelligence systems.
In this context, The Ma’am brigade emphasized the depth of relations between Jordan and South Korea, which was showcased in the level of cooperation in order to achieve the values of security, shared justice and service of the two friendly peoples, which was embodied by the creation of such a project.
The Calling Brigade further stated that the Directorate of Public Security continues its efforts to strengthen the system of security and peace in the community by providing the best applications, and smart solutions, keeping up with global developments in the fight against crime.
The Jordanian Public Security also stressed strengthening the capacity of workers, expressing his gratitude to the Government of South Korea, its embassy in Amman, and the Korean Agency for International Cooperation for their great efforts and support in establishing the project until getting it is done.
in his remarks, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Jordan, Kim Dong Ji, praised the important and prominent role that the Jordanian police is playing in achieving security and combating crime in all forms and on all levels.
The Korean Ambassador confirmed that the long-term bilateral relationship with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has resulted in the success of many projects, including this project, that they hope will contribute to strengthening the capabilities of public security units specialized in criminal investigation, preventive work and drug control to enhance safety and security levels in Jordan.
In the end, the ceremony was also attended by the Regional Director of the Korean Agency for International Cooperation, Seo Dongsung, and several representatives of ministries and partner government institutions. The Director of Public Security and the Korean Ambassador unveiled the project memorial.
