Israel: A trail of fire broke out in the forest area of Zikim and Karmia, Israel, due to the incautious acts of several citizens who came to play airsoft in the area. The fire caught a large number of areas in its control and still raging in the area, causing heavy damage to the forest area.

According to recent information, the officials from the Fire and Rescue Authority of Israel have been looking into the matter and trying to find more leads related to the accident and cause behind the big fire while taking control.

Later, it was reported that “An initiative event occurred in the area of about 100 citizens who came to play Airsoft, and some of them lit a fire in the open and grassy area and caused a fire.” In addition, the reports and information released by the Fire and Rescue Department have also confirmed that a number of causes were found behind the unfortunate accident

The officials said that the incautious acts of a few residents led the forest to be lit, damaging nearby fields as well. It was stated that the most probable fire was ignited through a fertilizer pot and barbeque.

In this context, the investigation further unfolded the facts that firstly, a fertilizer pot was captured, which was placed in a dangerous place in the grassy field which caught fire first and led it to spread more into the forest and areas.

On the other hand, the second reason behind the huge forest fire was connected to a barbeque in a wooded area in the grassy fields. So far, this has been speculated that the citizens lit up the barbeque to cook food which caught fire later and caused the damage.

In addition, the Commissioner from the Israeli Fire and Rescue Authority, Rabbi Tafsar Eyal Kaspi, has conveyed while taking a breath of peace that since the event could have ended in a terrible disaster, yet to our delight, there was no soul injured in this event.

Moreover, he also mentioned that the group of citizens had been trapped in the field but had not caused any injuries.

In the end, Israel Fire and Rescue Commissioner Rabbi Tafsar Eyal Kaspi issued a commissioner order prohibiting today from starting fires in open areas. “Please follow the instructions of the warrant,” he noted.
