The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey released a statement with regard to the terrorist attack in Pakistan. The statement strongly condemned terrorist attacks in Pakistan. The attack had caused the lives of 14 Pakistani soldiers.

The horrific attack occurred in the Gwadar district of Balochistan, which falls in the Southwest of Pakistan. The statement said, “We condemn this horrific attack and wish god’s mercy on the martyries soldiers and convey our deep condolences to families who lost their family members.”

The statement reaffirmed solidarity with the people of Pakistan. The statement furtehr stated that we stand with Pakistan in its Fight Against Terrorism. Moreover, Turkey condemned all forms of terrorism in all parts of the world.

It is to be specifically mentioned that the latest violence is the outcome of the decades-old militancy that existed in the region. The attack occurred when two vehicles of the security forces were going to Ormara from Pasni. Meanwhile, the terrorists launched a hidden attack on these vehicles.

Army officials stated that the search operation to catch the militants responsible for the attack is in full swing. The official also confirmed the perpetrator of the attack would be brought to justice. It is worth mentioning that the Balochistan region remained disturbed for a long time. The separatist movement of Balochistan wants to overthrow the elected Government of Pakistan.

The militants active in Balochistan want to install a government of their own choice, which will run as the rules and regulations of Islamic laws. Pakistan Military leadership and the mainstream media frequently accused India for helping the  militant groups in Balochistan.

On the other hand, the caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan also condemned the attack and paid tribute to 14 soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the deadly attack.Till now, no group has taken responsibility for the attacks on military vehicles.
