St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew thanked his wife Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew for assisting the meeting with the pre-schools and the children in his absence. He said that they are committed to help the schools and the children to have improved learning conditions.

Diani met with the school children in recognition and celebration of Child Month. She also made donations of several items to three pre-schools.

After meeting them she expressed that she was delighted to donate several items to three pre-schools today on behalf of her husband and Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Terrance Drew.

First Lady Diani Drew, further expressed that her husband has been long committed to the wholistic development of children, that can be seen even now through the establishment of various comprehensive policies.

She added that she is happy to be able to continue the philanthropic work of the prime minister, Drew.

Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew gladly shared the snippets of her visit on her official Facebook handle and can be seen enjoying the company of the children.

Notably, the Louisa Grant Pre-School in Conaree received the new toilets, doors and a new stove, while Vera’s Day Care in Cayon and the Victoria Road Pre-School in Basseterre received several standing and wall-mounted fans.

The First Lady admitted that she was especially happy to surprise Vera’s Day Care, as she promised them that she would be back when she visited in April.

Furthermore, they are hopeful that these items will assist in creating an even more comfortable environment for both the children and teachers.

They will also help to encourage and enhance the learning, creativity and the overall development of the intelligent little ones.
