Dubai Municipality has launched a comprehensive initiative to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the emirate during the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays.

With a dedicated workforce of 3,150 field supervisors and sanitation engineers, the civic body aims to maintain impeccable cleanliness standards across all public areas, reflecting its commitment to service excellence during special occasions.

Moreover, stringent measures have been implemented to uphold cleanliness on main roads, spanning 2,300 kilometers. A specialized team of 155 sanitation engineers and 10 supervisory personnel will work around the clock in four shifts, supported by a fleet of 759 automated vehicles.

This fleet will undertake daily programs, encompassing tasks ranging from routine cleaning to emergency response and incident reporting along external roads and highways.

Dubai Municipality has also prioritized environmental sustainability by ensuring operational continuity at key facilities such as the Al Qusais landfill, Bayada landfill, and the Jebel Ali Hazardous Waste Treatment Plant.
