PM Drew appreciates First Lady Diani Jimesha Prince for hosting women of Labour

St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew is proud of his wife for hosting the women of Labour. Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew hosted ‘Labour of Love’ event on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The event was organised with an objective to recognize the valuable contributions of the female members of Labour Party.

Reportedly, the First Lady – Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew was honoured for hosting the amazing women of Labour, for which PM Drew has expressed his happiness.

PM Drew wrote a note in his official social media post that he is very proud of his wife for hosting the women of Labour in a weekend mixer. He also explained that it was wonderful to see so many Labour women together, as got some time from their busy schedule to relax and enjoy each other’s company.

The event ‘Labour of Love’ was observed for a relaxed afternoon of camaraderie in recognition of their service. As women are the backbone of the society and they have contributed tremendously towards the development of the nation.

Jimesha Prince-Drew further expressed that it was an important moment for all of them to continue building and strengthen the bonds of friendship, sisterhood and togetherness.

Talking about the gathering occurred in St. Kitts and Nevis, she mentioned that all the women present at there had a wonderful time together and she is grateful to many of these women for embracing her and for the support they provided, at every step of her life.

During the meet, the women present there connected and shared their experiences, while celebrating the collective achievements of themselves. The event provided them a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Apart this, the meeting was a reminder for everyone to unite and mutually support the Labour Party which is important and appreciated the significance of the meet.

First Lady – Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew brought together the women who are interested in service and progress. The celebration observed the contributions and demonstrated women’s contribution in shaping the better future of the nation.

Notably, the event signified the labour Party’s desire to appreciate and empower the female leaders, allowing them to influence policies through dialogue for positive outcomes.
