St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew attended the graduation of the alma mater to witness the courageous and confident graduates of the Dean Glasford Primary School.
PM Drew shared the glimpses of the graduation ceremony on his official social media handle of Facebook. While sharing the photographs, he expressed that it was a blessing to attend the graduation of his alma mater to witness the faces of courageous and confident graduates.
Prime Minister Drew further expressed his gratitude and took the opportunity to congratulate the children, parents, guardians, teachers and staff of the Dean Glasford Primary School, the Ministry of Education and the community as a whole.
He also granted the scholarship to the students of the primary school. Zakeedra Morton and Kenton Louis XVI were the recipients and were specially recognised by the scholarships presented by the Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Following the shared photographs of the graduation ceremony by PM Drew, a social media user Livingstone Buchanan commented, “Good Afternoon Prime Minister. That is what I am interested in, seeing my Parish have the resources that is needed for a Community like no other. Don’t come out of office until you put all thing’s in its rightful place. Feeling the Love from a distance. Big Respect!”

Earlier, last month Deane-Glasford Primary School (DGPS) hosted a highly successful STEAM Career Fair, two months ago, in May under the theme of ‘Small Dreams Can Turn into Big Realities’. At the event Principal of DGPS – Princess Nyoka Adams explained the value of hosting the Career Fair.
Considerably, the purpose of conducting the fair was that children can choose their career path at a very young age so that they can work towards choosing appropriate subject areas that will help them to accomplish their dream.
Guidance Counsellor and Fair Coordinator – Latisha Richards gave insight into the different businesses which were represented at the Career Fair.
The career fair held previously at DGPS highlighted the dedication of educators and professionals in shaping the future leaders, innovators and critical thinkers. As the school supported the students to confidently pursue their desired careers by linking academic learning with practical and real-world experiences.
