Dubai’s skyline is set to welcome a new architectural marvel as Azizi Developments prepares to launch sales for Burj Azizi, the world’s second-tallest tower, across seven cities on February 19.
The 725-metre skyscraper, set to rise along Sheikh Zayed Road, will offer a mix of residential, hotel, retail, and entertainment spaces and is expected to be completed by 2028.
The sales launch will be held at prestigious venues in major global cities, including Dubai (Conrad Hotel), Hong Kong (The Peninsula), London (The Dorchester), Mumbai (JW Marriott Juhu), Singapore (Marina Bay Sands), Sydney (Four Seasons Hotel), and Tokyo (Palace Hotel).
Mirwais Azizi, founder and chairman of Azizi Developments, expressed his excitement about the project’s global unveiling. “In Dubai and cities around the world, new projects come up every day. However, projects like Burj Azizi happen only once a generation. I feel overjoyed that we celebrate Burj Azizi’s journey from conceptualisation to launch,” he said.
“Burj Azizi is not just a structure; it is a tribute to the emirate’s ever-growing prominence on the global stage,” Azizi added.
A Landmark in Dubai’s Booming Property Market
Dubai’s real estate market has witnessed remarkable growth over the past four years, with strong demand from investors and end-users pushing prices and rentals to new heights.
The luxury and ultra-luxury segments have been at the forefront of this surge, attracting significant investment. According to Property Finder, Dubai recorded an all-time high of 180,987 property transactions in 2024, amounting to Dh522.5 billion.
This marks a 36.5% increase in volume and a 27.2% rise in value compared to the previous market peak in 2023. The surge has been primarily driven by off-plan sales, as buyers seek opportunities in the emirate’s thriving real estate sector.
Burj Azizi’s Architectural and Lifestyle Offerings
Burj Azizi aims to set new records, boasting several unique features, including the highest hotel lobby on level 111, the highest nightclub on level 126, the highest restaurant on level 122, and the highest hotel room on level 118.
Additionally, a dedicated museum at the top of the tower will chronicle its construction journey, displaying multimedia exhibits featuring photos, videos, and graphics to recognize key contributors.
The tower will offer one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with an amenity floor included for every 20 residential levels.
These floors will feature swimming pools, a sauna and steam room, a gym, a yoga centre, a spa, a games room, a business centre, a cinema, a kids’ play area, a restaurant, a coffee shop, and a supermarket.
Adding to its allure, Burj Azizi will house a luxurious all-suite seven-star hotel, inspired by seven distinct cultural themes: Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Indian, Turkish, French, and Russian.
Azizi highlighted the project’s significance, stating, “Burj Azizi has been a dream of mine for many years. It has been a tough challenge, requiring tireless work by experts from around the world. But I am happy to announce that the dream is now on the path to realisation.”
With Dubai already home to 33 towers exceeding 300 metres—more than any other city—Burj Azizi is poised to further solidify the emirate’s reputation as a global leader in skyscraper innovation.
As the project moves toward completion, it is expected to attract significant interest from high-net-worth investors seeking premium real estate in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
