St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew observed the ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day in the schools of St. Kitts and Nevis. He marked the day by visiting the premises of local schools in and around the twin-island nation.
Reportedly, May 14, 2025, Wednesday was dedicated to the ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day. It was a day packed with several activities, as financial professionals visited schools around St. Kitts and Nevis to sensitize the students about financial literacy.
Considering this significant visit, PM Drew shared the glimpses from the schools and expressed that he was glad to pay his visit and said that he was able to visit Cayon High School, where he spoke to enthusiastic students who were happy about the visit.
He further added to his statement that all of the children in St. Kitts and Nevis between the age of 05 and 18 are eligible to be a part of the ASPIRE program.
Marking the significance of the eventful vibrant day, schools across St. Kitts and Nevis hosted special assemblies in celebration of ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day. The celebration featured dynamic presentations by financial experts, educators, business leaders and community advocates.
Notable speakers were engaged along with students with practical insights on key topics such as budgeting, saving, investing and avoiding financial pitfalls.
The knowledgeable sessions emphasised how the essential life skills aligned with the opportunities are available through the innovative ASPIRE programme, introduced by the St. Kitts and Nevis Federation.
Moreover, the ASPIRE programme is mainly designed to empower the next generation with the tools for financial success and independence.

The ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day was observed by the ASPIRE Task Force in partnership with the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis. It was commemorated under the theme ‘Level Up Your Financial Future’, which was celebrated on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
The 2025 ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day’s objective was to spread an exciting and transformative experience that aligns with the long-term vision of the government for a more financially informed and independent generation.
