Saudi restaurant closed for making samosas in toilets for past 30 years

Riyadh: As per the local media reports in which, it has been found that the authorities of the Saudi Kingdom have closed a restaurant that mainly makes samosas and other snacks in their toilet for more than 30 years. 

Amid a tip-off, the Municipality of Jeddah raided a restaurant in a residential building that had been in operation for more than 3 decades.

According to the local reports, the sweets and some other food items were being prepared in their washroom. 

Not only they are preparing sweets in the washroom, but also Municipality found meat, chicken, and cheese, even more than half of the products were expiry from the past two years. Many insects and rodents were also spotted at the site. 

In the first month of 2022, one of the famous Shawarma restaurants in Jeddah was forced to shut down after a rat was spotted walking around and feasting on meat on top of a shawarma skewer. 

There was a video in which a man was eating rat meat in the shawarma square of a popular restaurant in Al Baghdadia that went viral on social media. Authorities were asked to take strict action against the restaurant. Officers sealed off the restaurant, according to the Saudi newspaper Azel.
