A fight occurred between two pilgrims who were inside Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mosque in the holy city of Makkah.
Some people made a video and circulated them online, which shows two people fighting while other pilgrims who were inside attempted to resolve the dispute.
There is a tweet posted by the Saudi Arabia security services in which they stated that the quarrel did not result in injuries, and legal actions will be taken against the two people.
The statement added: “The special forces call for the security of Haj and Umrah to observe peace and calm during the performance of Umrah, to pray in the Two Holy Mosques, and to glorify the rituals of Allah.”
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the kingdom declared that it would permit one million Muslims from inside and outside the country in order to participate in this year’s Haj pilgrimage.
The Ministry of Haj and Umrah “has authorised one million foreign and domestic pilgrims to perform the Haj this year,” it said in a statement.
Saudi Arabia made a big decision on Saturday in which they decided that they would provide a permit to one million Muslims from inside and outside the country in order to participate in this year’s haj.
The Ministry of Haj and Umrah “has authorised one million foreign and domestic pilgrims to perform the hajj in 2022,” it said in a statement.
This is only allowed to those who are under 65 years old and have taken both doses of COVID-19 vaccinations, which the Saudi Ministry approves of Health, as per the Saturday statement.
This decision is taken because the administration needs to ensure pilgrims’ safety “while ensuring that the maximum number of Muslims worldwide can perform the haj.
A specific number of pilgrims from each specific country will be only allowed to make the pilgrimage based on allocated quotas.
