This visit of Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew marked a great significance in St. Kitts and Nevis history of strengthened relationship with Canada. 

The award honours Minister Henderson for her visionary leadership, commitment to sustainable tourism development and transformative contributions to the growing tourism sector of St. Kitts and Nevis. 

The eTA system is powered by Swiss Tech Firm – Travizory and allows low-risk travelers to breeze through immigration, while enhancing border security by identifying high-risk individuals before they arrive.  

The event marked a great opportunity to show up and stand strong, where everyone joined the rally in red attire to symbolize the labour party.

It is a great move that aligns with the Sustainable Island State Agenda of the government and reaffirmed the commitment of the administration to transparency, good governance, and economic transformation.

It is a symbolic partnership for disaster preparedness and was observed during a handover ceremony hosted by the Ministry of National Security and Legal Affairs. 

The US have always encouraged Dominica and its federation for such great initiatives. It also supports Dominica’s economic base and will raise the standard of living for its people. US aid is directed mainly through multilateral institutions such as the World Bank and the Caribbean Development Bank. 

The visit took place as officers are working diligently to prepare the infrastructure and operations that are required for the June 2025 rollout of the new eTA system as a major step forward in enhancing border security and streamlining travel into the Federation. 

St. Kitts and Nevis has facilitated the shipment of a 20-foot container loaded with products to the Republic of Cuba from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) headquarters to benefit the nationals who are pursuing their study in Cuba.
