According to India’s Ambassador in the U.A.E., “the mortal remains of the two Indians nationals who were killed in a drone attack in Abu Dhabi on January 17, and it is assumed that their bodies will come in India on January 21.”

On January 17, two Indians, a Pakistani national, and the rest of the staff of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) were killed, and six others were critically injured in the suspected drone attacks near the Abu Dhabi airport that flashed multiple blasts in the capital of the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.).

Yemen’s Houthi Rebel proclaimed the attacks.

As per the Indian’s Ambassador to the U.A.E., Sunjay Sudhir, “that the Indian mission in the U.A.E. capital has finished all their formalities for repatriation of dead remains of the two Indians.”

Mr Sudir said on Twitter “that the Bodies will reach Amritsar tomorrow morning, and they genuinely appreciate the support of the extended government of U.A.E. & @AdnocGroup. Tied up with Punjab Government for local support.”

However, the entities of the suspect people are not revealed by the government.

On January 19, India’s Permanent Representative to the U.N. Ambassador TS Tirumurti, communicating at a Security Council in an open discussion on the Middle East, directed his strong condemnation of the terror attack in Abu Dhabi.

He added, “that this sort of attack on innocent civilians and civilian infrastructure is entirely inappropriate. It is a heinous violation of overseas law. It is also against all civilised norms.”

“It is important that the Council stands united in sending a clear signal against such heinous acts of terror,” he said.

The U.A.E. Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation statement said that the U.A.E. secures the right to respond to these terrorist attacks and criminal escalation.

Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed said that the drone attacks, which smashed ADNOC fuel facilities and the airport, will not go unpunished.
