mirbat is a beautiful destination with a fort, old architectural sites and life underneath the water. Underwater life allows us to see wonderful aquatic creatures like octopuses, sharks and various varieties of turtles. This significant feature provides a very scenic and mesmerizing experience to visitors who remain there even for a limited period of time.

The town of Mirbat falls in the Dhofar region of the southwestern region of Oman. In ancient times, mirbat was the capital of Dhofar. The nearby places are Tawi Attair and Sumhuram. Many Arab traditional dhows fall along the coastline of Mirbat. These dhows were used to carry heavy items across the sea. The coastal beaches of Mirbat provide a charming and scenic view of sunrise and sunset.
Apart from the above-mentioned tourist attractions, some other places to visit are also there. These include the Mirbat castle belonging to the Battle of Mirbat, old merchants’ houses, the Mausoleum of Bin Ali built in memory of a local Muslim scholar, and Baobab Grove, the only place in Arabia where you can see growing baobab trees, Anti gravity point where the car in neutral goes uphill.
This is a town which is also known very well across the region for the battle of Mirbat. In this battle of Miirbat, few arab soldiers exhibited exceptional bravery, and this limited number of arab soldiers fought against 200 invaders and protected the fort in Mirbat.
One visiting in the Middle East should go to Mirbat for a full experience. Like many countries in the Middle East, Oman too making a sincere effort to make the tourism industry ideal for tourists across the globe.
