The award honours Minister Henderson for her visionary leadership, commitment to sustainable tourism development and transformative contributions to the growing tourism sector of St. Kitts and Nevis. 

The eTA system is powered by Swiss Tech Firm – Travizory and allows low-risk travelers to breeze through immigration, while enhancing border security by identifying high-risk individuals before they arrive.  

It is a great move that aligns with the Sustainable Island State Agenda of the government and reaffirmed the commitment of the administration to transparency, good governance, and economic transformation.

The visit took place as officers are working diligently to prepare the infrastructure and operations that are required for the June 2025 rollout of the new eTA system as a major step forward in enhancing border security and streamlining travel into the Federation. 

St. Kitts and Nevis has facilitated the shipment of a 20-foot container loaded with products to the Republic of Cuba from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) headquarters to benefit the nationals who are pursuing their study in Cuba. 

St. Kitts and Nevis observed the 93rd Annual Conference Day on Sunday, May 18, 2025, as all the roads led to Manhattan Gardens, Lime Kiln for the conference arranged by the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party. 

Marking the significance of the eventful vibrant day, schools across St. Kitts and Nevis hosted special assemblies in celebration of ASPIRE Financial Literacy Day. The celebration featured dynamic presentations by financial experts, educators, business leaders and community advocates.  

Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is committed to further expand the prison farming to increase the food production, cut its costs and support the health and wellbeing of its inmates.

St. Kitts and Nevis through the Ministry of Health received a generous donation of wheelchairs and other essential medical supplies from the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) that was facilitated by the Cao Zhong Zhi Foundation. 

The main objective of the meeting was to highlight the relations with the countries such as Philippines, with an aim to find common problems which are being faced by more countries like them.

The new stadium will serve as a hub for talent development, fostering the next generation of athletes and providing opportunities for the entire community to come together through the love of sport.
