PM Terrance Drew wishes fast recovery of tourism minister Marsha Henderson

The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Terrance Drew, extended best wishes for the fast recovery of tourism minister Marsha Henderson. She underwent an emergency surgery on Tuesday night. The PM also encourages the public to pray for the good health of the Minister.

Marsha Henderson holds a portfolio of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and international transport along with labour and Urabn development.

While taking to Social media, PM Drew said I am relieved to know that the surgical procedure of the Minister was successful. He stated that everyone in St Kitts and Nevis is praying for the speedy recovery of the tourism minister Marsha Henderson. He said that with the grace of god and collective prayers, she would soon join the routine work after recovery.

While recalling her working PM Terrance Drew called the Minister a dedicated leader with vision. She was the driving force behind the many progressive and developmental projects of the country, PM added.

PM Terance Drew also requested to the public to respect the privacy of the tourism minister Marsha Henderson and her family. PM while underscoring the people’s concerns toward the Minister, said, “We understand the care and concern of the citizens towards their leader, but this time, there is a need to allow her personal space for healing without any interruptions”.

On the absence of a minister from her office during her treatment, he added that there is a strong and capable team in place. These people of the ministry will ensure the smooth functioning of the ministry work and other vital functions.

The PM showed full confidence in the capability of the team of the ministry  that is looking after the work. This team will keep the functions of the ministry transparent and fast for the welfare of the public till the resumption of work by Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson.
