St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew pays visit to the ongoing St. Kitts Music Festival. He shared the photographs of him with Governor General – Dame Marcella Liburd.
PM Drew was accompanied by the Governor General and his wife Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew. At the event, he had fun and acclaimed the St. Kitts Music Festival as the best festival in the region and the world.

Drew also shared a photograph of him with his wife and First Lady Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew and shared a note with the post that reads, “Chilling at St. Kitts Music Festival. I am well accompanied. The best festival in the region.”
The St. Kitts Music Festival is one of the major music festivals that is held in the Caribbean annually. The 2024 festival, began on June 27th and will conclude in June 29th. The yearly festival promises a diverse range of musical genres, including Gospel, Soul, Soca, Jazz, R&B, Blues, Reggae and More.
With a mix of A-list musicians, visitors and locals, the festival promises to be a perfect celebration of culture and entertainment.
This year, in 2024 the popular Caribbean music fest is celebrating its 26th anniversary, which began in 1996 and continued to be one of the region’s oldest and most sought-after events.
Notably, some big names that have performed at this major festival included Lionel Richie, Michael Bolton, Freddie Jackson, Yolanda Adams, Machel Montano, Sean Paul, Wale, Keyshia Cole, Air Supply, Burna Boy and Beres Hammond.
With such a diverse range of artists, the festival always delivers a memorable celebration of music and culture that is not to be missed.
Considerably, the 2024 line-up mainly included the Grammy Award winner Mary J. Blige along with Alkaline, Akaii U Sweet, Eazi, Greenhouse Band, Hi-Light, I-Tebulous, Jaydo$, KT Dan, Mical Teja, Rick Ross, Speedy, Tbone, Third World, Tommy Lee, Mr. Mention and many more.
St. Kitts’ epic festival weekend kicked off the Summer Fun in the Federation, that featured programs across culture, cuisine, music and adventure.
Additionally, to the live shows from the music festival, there are also several fringe activities that included lunchtime concerts featuring local musicians, Caribbean beach parties and official after-parties that visitors can participate in.
