St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew hosted the ‘2025 Prime Minister’s New Year’s Grand Gala’ on Saturday, Jan 04, 2025. The event was observed at the Marriott Dome in St. Kitts under the theme ‘Building Prosperity Through Sustainability’.
PM Drew hosted the New Year Gala along with his wife Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew. His son Terrance Drew Jr. also joined the event. The event began at 7:00 p.m. and welcomed the guest artist – Christopher Martin.
Dr. Terrance Drew extended his gratitude to the official delegates present there comprising of the keynote speaker – Raheemah Abdulaleem, special assistant to President of the USA and General Counsel in the White House, along with Executive Office of the President for delivering a timely and impactful message.
Extending his gratitude PM Drew further added that he would like to thank Rachel Price for hosting the 2025 gala eve, as well as Christopher Martin from Jamaica and the very own Jingle Bells String Band. He presented his gratitude to Infamus, the KC5 Band, Rucas H.E., David House and also to the Edward ‘Mighty J’ Williams for their spectacular entertainment.
Dr. Drew congratulated Jackie ‘Singing Jackie’ Hazel-Leader. She was recognized last night for completing her 50 years in the art form of Calypso. He further took this opportunity to express sincere gratitude to the organizing committee for their splendid work in executing 2025 Grand Gala.
PM Terrance Drew also praised the planning, décor, seating and lighting that all came together to create an amazing evening. He also mentioned that the proceeds from this grand gala will go towards the Children’s Medical Fund, which is a fund that has saved the lives of many children.
Upon attending the vibrant gala eve, Prime Minister Drew expressed that he with his family and friends had an incredible time at the 2025 Prime Minister’s New Year’s Grand Gala where citizens, residents and other guests from all walks of life came together as one and represented unity under the selected theme.
