St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew joined the dialogue as Minister of Citizenship and Immigration at the ‘Future of Citizenship by Investment’ meeting held from January 20-22, 2025, at Wilton Park, London, United Kingdom.
The significant gathering held for three consecutive days, had discussions that brought together the leaders from the Eastern Caribbean States that offers Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programmes.
The dialogue welcomed all the regional and global stakeholders, academic experts as well as the senior representatives from governments of other nations.
Future of Citizenship by Investment meeting provided a great platform for the stakeholders, as they further developed their understanding and clarified their concerns in relevance to the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) programmes across the region.
The major aim of holding this gathering was to strengthen the processes and enhance transparency and share the long-term vision and role of CBI programmes in the Eastern Caribbean.
The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Terrance Drew was conjoined by the Attorney General – Garth Wilkin and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Citizenship by Investment Unit of St. Kitts and Nevis – Calvin St Juste.
Considering the eminent three day gathering, PM Terrance Drew shared a photograph from the official event on his social media handle and stated that after several years he was joined by the official members related to the CBI Programme and said, “Over the past few days, I was joined by the Hon. Attorney-General Garth Wilkin as well as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Citizenship by Investment Unit – His Excellency Calvin St. Juste, in participating as major representatives of St. Kitts and Nevis, in the ‘Future of Citizenship by Investment’ dialogue in London.”
PM Drew highlighted that the meeting comprised of several delegates and said, “This pivotal forum convened the key stakeholders of the investment programme and served as a vital platform for fostering deeper understanding, in addressing key concerns and also charting a transformative path towards strengthening the integrity, sustainability and strategic vision of CBI programmes within the region.”
