St. Kitts and Nevis: interCaribbean Airways introduced a specially painted ATR 42-500 aircraft that proudly featured the vibrant flag of St. Kitts and Nevis on its tail, which arrived on March 10, 2025, at the RLB International Airport. The special aircraft is a tribute to the nation and has been named as the ‘Spirit of St. Kitts and Nevis’ that symbolizes the deep appreciation of the airline for the government and people of the Federation.
Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew attended the unveiling of the aircraft ceremony. He also shared the photographs from the ceremony on his official social media handle and stated that it was with a sense of pride that they held a special ceremony at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport and welcomed the St. Kitts and Nevis branded interCaribbean Airways aircraft.
PM Drew acknowledged the government’s collaboration with the airline and said that their partnership with interCaribbean has been fruitful and they remain committed to enhance the tourism infrastructure including the strengthening of the air connections.
Drew also commended the Tourism Minister Marsha Henderson and her team for their continued dedication and hard work shown towards developing the industry.
The historic moment of brand unveiling ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister – Dr. Terrance Drew, Deputy Prime Minister – Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, Minister of Tourism – Marsha Henderson and other members of the Federal Cabinet.
Reportedly, officials from the Ministry of Tourism and the St Kitts Tourism Authority were also present to witness the significant occasion.
Considering this, Minister of Public Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities, Domestic Transport, ICT and Post – Konris G M Maynard expressed that he was proud to join his colleagues as they welcomed the arrival of St. Kitts and Nevis branded interCaribbean Airways at Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport. He added that seeing the nation’s flag proudly displayed on the aircraft is a moment of great pride for them all.

PM Drew reaffirmed the commitment of the government to enhance the tourism infrastructure of the island. The federation noted the initiatives alike branded aircraft that are part of a broader strategy to assure that St. Kitts and Nevis remains an accessible, desirable and thriving destination.
