St. Kitts and Nevis: The Government has officially launched its Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) bio-corridor system on Tuesday, June 03, 2025, at RLB International Airport, making travel easier, faster and safer to the twin island nation.
The eTA system is powered by Swiss Tech Firm – Travizory and allows low-risk travelers to breeze through immigration, while enhancing border security by identifying high-risk individuals before they arrive.
Reportedly, this cutting–edge system has come at zero cost to the federation. It is free for St. Kitts and Nevis nationals, as well as for OECS and CARICOM citizens.
Considering this, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew said that this is another bold step taken by the government in building a modern, secure and innovative St. Kitts and Nevis.

PM Drew also shared a video clip from the event and noted that St. Kitts and Nevis observed the cutting edge of global travel, with the launch of the Biometric Corridor at RLB International Airport.
Drew marked that they are leading the Caribbean and standing tall among the most advanced nations in the world. eTA is seamless and secure and is the future of travel. The system has been built right here in the federation only to welcome the world.
Following the launch of eTA system on June 03, PM Drew stated that it is a significant step towards modernizing the travel experience, to and from the St. Kitts and Nevis. He highlighted that the eTA would enhance border security, streamline the arrival process for low-risk travelers, and support the growth of intra-regional travel, particularly for OECS and CARICOM nationals.
Additionally, Prime Minister Drew provided insight into the landmark sale of the marina assets and operations at Christophe Harbour to global industry leader Safe Harbor Marinas. This strategic move has set the position St. Kitts and Nevis as a premier yachting destination in the Caribbean, expanding the tourism sector and opening new opportunities for local employment and economic growth.
These decisions are a transformative move for the Federation’s tourism and maritime economy, the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has recently announced the sale of the marina assets and operations at Christophe Harbour to global industry leader Safe Harbor Marinas, LLC.
During the June 3 Roundtable, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew hailed the transaction as a bold step towards establishing St. Kitts and Nevis as one of the premier yachting destinations in the Caribbean.
