Kuwait: The Ministry of Social Affairs called for the need to be vigilant as a result of the actions of some fake and suspicious accounts that impersonate the Ministry on Facebook and some websites, by placing false advertisements announcing the provision of a financial grant and requesting through which to send the phone number and some information Personal with the aim of fraud and electronic piracy.

The ministry confirmed that it did not place such advertisements or request such information in all of its official accounts, noting that the ministry had taken previous legal measures against some accounts.

Furthermore, the Ministry will take the same measures through legal channels towards accounts that have published such advertisements recently.

The ministry also called on citizens and residents to report such accounts that impersonate the ministry on websites with the aim of fraud and piracy.
