The President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, visits the Bedouin province of Negev in Southern Israel. The meeting mainly focuses on interacting with the Girls and teenagers of the community along with their Heads of Authority and Civil society organization.
President, Herzog was accompanied by the Head of the council of Hora Province, Habes-Al-Atauna, along with other influential people and the Head of authorities of the community. The Bedouin is traditionally known as a pastoral nomadic Arab Tribe. The people said in the meeting that ”we want to be a significant part of the Israeli society,’’ And not just the backyard’’.
The president, Herzog, further said that during the meeting, an incident in Beer Sheva started coming to light with its details which is still under investigation. Herzog conveys to the people of the tribe that authorities have a long path to walk upon to solve the whole incident. He further assures them that the Security bodies of Israel are doing possibly everything to bring justice to the people of Bedouin. The people and security organizations are willing to work together to fill the gaps between the bridges to set a suitable example as the Negev for the entire nation.
During his conversation, He stated that they all have to show the will to follow the path of justice with a strong will. A collective effort is needed to rub off all the differences and inequalities and build a common ground or model to follow in Israel.

Additionally, during the meeting, Herzog expressed his gratitude to the hosts and chairperson of the honourable authorities and council of the Bedouin. The leaders and attendees made a bold statement during the meeting in which they said, ”we don’t want to be a marginalized society,’’
Furthermore, the tribe holds the strength of more than 300 hundred thousand people in the Negev region. He also met with young teenagers and girls at the meeting, by which Herzog was pretty stunned by their approach towards life and to make it even better. ”The community has tremendous potential,’’ he said.
Isaac Herzog also uploaded several photographs from the special event on his official social media page, where he can be seen exchanging greetings with the other officials of the tribe. He called this meeting an essential chapter in joining the communities of Israel together.
