The Ministry of Health of the kingdom of Bahrain organized a ceremony to honour the Bahraini women’s Giving March on Thursday, December 1 2022, on the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day.
The Equal Opportunities Committee, in association with the Ministry of Health, carried out the celebration event. During the event, Dr Jalila, daughter of Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, was accompanied by Sheikh Dina, daughter of Rashid Al-Khalifa, Ms The Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Women. The personnel prepared several Ministry of health officials and staff for the event.
Dr Jalila, the daughter of Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, expressed her immense pleasure and cheerfulness towards the growth of Bahraini women’s place in society on the occasion of celebrating Bahraini Women’s Day this year at the beginning of the ceremony.
Furthermore, she quoted in her speech, under the slogan “I read – I learned – I shared”, which starts from Iraq which is considered the origin of the early beginnings of improvement and equality of Bahraini women, which continues towards the promising, ambitious participation in the present and building the future for the betterment of the society.
In addition, Bahraini Health Minister Dr Jalila Sayed Jawed raised and expressed her highest verses and acknowledgement of sincere gratitude to the efforts and endeavours carried out by the Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, along with Princess Sebika Bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Kareena, the head of the Supreme Council for Women.
As per the reports, Al-Khalifa Qareena, head of the Supreme Council for Women, started the ceremony by dedicating a special day to celebrate the National Giving of Bahraini Women, which falls on December 1 of every year.
The event was organized to express deep appreciation and honour to the deserving of the Bahraini Women’s Giving March, which commits to Net held its first event in 2008 to mark the 80th anniversary of the start of education Women’s order in Bahrain.
Moreover, the Minister of Health conveyed her pride towards the achievements of Bahraini women in all fields and sectors in the nation.
Women are excelling in every sector and making a mark for themselves by sending a loud message that the picture has changed about women’s equality. Said Dr Jalila.
At the event, the Ministry of Health won the Princess Sibika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa award for the advancement of Bahraini Women from the Public Sector category “Ministries and Organizations”.
This year, the honour is considered the badge of pride, honour and motivation and encourages women to give more and work towards the uplift and progress of our beloved Kingdom of Bahrain.
