Egypt: The Minister of Environment, Yasmin Fouad, meets Military Production Department head Eng. Mohamed Salahuddin Mustafa on December 1st.
Both parties discussed the project’s current status related to turning waste into electrical energy in the Abu Rawash region and several topics of joint cooperation.
During the meeting, both ministers shed some light on the progress of the ongoing electrical energy along with several other major topics of joint associations between the involved authorities.
Furthermore, the environmental minister Dr Yasmin Fouad acknowledged and praised all the efforts made by the departments of both ministries of environment and military production and the longstanding cooperation between them. Dr Yasmin said that both ministries had shared various big projects and files to develop and invent new technologies for Egypt.
She further stated that all the state institutions of the nations have important integration and connection with one another, which leads them to work as one team and achieve significant and sustainable growth as a nation.
As per the reports, both the environmental ministry and military production department have been working towards making a change. The Minister of Environment reviewed the works done in some joint work files between the two ministries,
Both authorities have been operating joint operations in the supply of stations and monitoring devices of the national network to monitor air pollutants of the ministry, explaining the steps taken in this regard by the Ministry of Military Production,
To enhance the air pollutant stations and forecasting, the national network for Air Pollutants Monitoring on a unit to monitor air factors and works to improve air quality,
environmental and health conditions by providing monitoring data. Well done to the decision-makers for taking the necessary actions.
Dr Yasmin, accompanied by Mohamed Salahuddin Mustafa, also reviewed files, including establishing a municipal solid waste processing plant and converting it to electricity in the Abu Rawash region through the alliance of “Renergy Group Partner.”

To create a healthy and clean environment, achieve economic return and produce usable electrical energy, the two parties agreed to work within the coming period on solving all obstacles.
