Egypt: The MCIT (Ministry of Communication and Information Technology) Minister Amr Talaat attended a meeting with the ambassador of India in Cairo, Mr Ajit Gupte, to discuss plans and to enhance relationships between India and Egypt in the field of Communication and Information technology.
As per the reports, MCIT Minister Amr Talaat has stated that the meeting was held with the vision of expanding and enhancing the cooperation between the information technology fields of both countries.
During the meeting, both officials discussed the latest researched mechanism which would strengthen the joint association between Egypt and India in the field of information technology.
Furthermore, Minister Amr Talaat conveyed that during the meeting, Indian Ambassador Mr Ajit Gupte accompanied him and reviewed the highlights of proposed cooperation projects between Egypt and India in the communication and information technology field.
In addition, they also discussed the ongoing preparations for Dr Amr Talaat’s visit to India during the next week, which aims to closely identify the successful Indian experience in the Telecommunications and IT field.
As per the sources, the latest research in the IT fields is in motion to enhance the Egyptian-India partnership in A number of telecommunications and IT sectors, attracting Indian investments to the Egyptian market.
During the meeting, Dr Amr Talat further affirmed the power of Egyptian-Indian relations on all levels. Moreover, both MCIT Minister and the Indian Ambassador expressed their expectations to push a reciprocal relationship between India and Egypt in the communications and information technology field.
On his part, Amr Talaat also added that by working together in implementing different projects and clarifying the telecommunications sector, Egyptian IT sees and holds a great chance of continuous growth as one of the top sectors in the country.
“The state has grown in light of implementing many projects to transition to an integrated digital society, developing the IT industry, and localizing the electronics industry”. Said Amr Talaat.
