India: As per the recent year-end review conducted by the Union Home Ministry under the patronage and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
There has been a notable reduction in terror attacks because of the tireless efforts of the Indian armed security forces. The terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is under complete control, said reports.
As per the recent updates, In the territory of Jammu and Kashmir, around 42,000 people succumbed to face terrorism, and in Delhi, no one flinched an eyelid and cared.
But in recent times, under the supervision and leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been a completely controlled turnaround in the situation, and security forces have put a brake on the terrorism incidents,
Furthermore, the year end-review report was released on Tuesday and included quoting the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah. “A 54 per cent reduction in terrorist attacks has been seen in the past times,
along with a reduced number of deaths of the armed forces, around 84 per cent, and 22 per cent drop in the recruitment of the terrorists,” Home Minister Amit Shah said.
In addition, Home Minister Shah also stated in his statement from the review report of the February 2022 meeting held on the situation regarding the security in Jammu and Kashmir.
Moreover, Shah also pointed out and appreciated the efforts of the security agencies, which resulted in reduced terror incidents in the state of Jammu and Kashmir over the past few years.
The recent numbers recorded regarding the terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, from around 417 in 2018 to 229 in 2021, death and attacks have decreased.
Meanwhile, the MAH document reported that the number of security personnel martyred has also reduced from nearly 91 in 2018 to 42 in 2021.
In his remarks, Amit Shah also directed that the security grid and system should be strengthened and reinforced to ensure zero-cross-border penetration to eliminate terrorist attacks.
In a summary of the year-end report review of 2022 under the supervision of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and speeches in several meetings taken on Jammu and Kashmir.
The MHA said that there is “complete control” of the security forces on terrorism and unethical attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, which has now turned into a “tourist hotspot from terrorist hotspot”.
The Home Minister, Amit Shah, also quoted in his speech in Srinagar on October 5, 2022, as he inaugurated and founded around 240 development projects worth Rs 2,000 crore in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Moreover, the MHA report also concluded that “Under the implemented rule of three families for 70 years, around 15,000 crore investment came into the J & k after which Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the investment of Rs 56,000 in just three years, which was a path-breaking step in its development and growth as a state”.
Home Minister Amit Shah also pointed out one of the major changes in Jammu and Kashmir, as it was seen as the hotspot for terrorism in the past. Still, the picture has changed and it is considered the tourist hotspot in Kashmir Valley.
In the past, only 6 lakh tourists used to visit the state of Jammu and Kashmir every year, whereas in 2022, around 22 lakh tourists have seen and given employment opportunities to the area’s youth.
Now, Amit Shah said in the meeting, there are no such recorded incidents of stone pelting and assaults on the armed forces in Jammu and Kashmir in recent times, as the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is moving further on the right path of development with firm techniques of growth.
Moving towards the end, the Union Home Ministry has directed that the security grid and military operations are on the path of further improvements and strengthening to ensure zero terrorism fear among the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
In his end notes, Home Minister Shah added that the eco-system comprising elements that aid, abet and terrorist-separatist campaign and the fear of danger to the well-being of the common person must be fully dismantled.
