Egypt: The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) has initiated a cause of Indian-Egyptian discussion in the Indian Capitol in New Delhi to promote joint cooperation between both nations in the field of communication, information technology and electronics
As per the MCIT Minister of Egypt, Amr Talaat, the government authorities and officials among India’s top IT (Information Technology) fields CEOs (Chief Executive Officers) met to reform the associations and attract investment from India to Egyptian Market.
The information was shared from the MCIT (Ministry of Communication and Information Technology) official social media account yesterday, January 8 2023. iIn addition, the discussion and meeting between Indian Egyptian officials were scheduled to commence today, January 9.
As per the sources, Dr Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, representing the Egyptian IT sector, and his accompanying delegation met with Indian government officials and CEOs of India’s largest companies working in IT and specialized academic institutions.
Furthermore, both the representatives and CEOs of the top Indian Information Technology firms sat together to discuss mechanisms for enhancing the Egyptian-India partnership in several fields of communication and technology Information, attracting Indian investments to the Egyptian market.
Moreover, the ongoing visit of Egyptian MCIT Minister of Dr Amr Talaat is scheduled to be commenced from 9 to January 13, when Dr Amr Talaat and his accompanying delegation are set to meet with government officials in India to discuss ways to facilitate cooperation between the two countries in the IT fields.
As per the reports, in light of the successful Indian experience In the communications and information technology field, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology is working to establish international partnerships to transfer knowledge, develop the IT industry, achieve digital transformation, and deepen local manufacturing.
Towards the end, Minister of Communication and Information Technology Amr Talaat, along with the accompanying delegation during his visit, is also scheduled to hold a meeting with officials of Indian academic institutions to review proposed ways of collaboration in digital capacity building.
It was further concluded that the scheduled meetings are held to enhance IT relationships between India and Egypt.
The other major reason for the cooperation is that top officials of Indian institutions and companies working in Telecom and IT fields to research collaboration and attract Indian investment In a number of areas I highlighted: digital transformation, IT, technological innovation, and the electronics industry.
