Egypt: The officials from the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NMEC have recently shared an update regarding the Cultural art workshop held at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization on the occasion of the New Year celebration Under the title “Ancient Egyptian Calendar”.
As per the recent updates, the management authorities of the National Museum have updated that the cultural event was held to celebrate and mark the beginning of the New Year 2023 among the country’s people.
Furthermore, the executive head of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, Dr Ahmed Ghanim, stated on his part that the held workshop comes within a series of diverse events held by the museum management to engage and promote the artistic interests of the people in several activities.
In addition, as part of the cultural workshop, its role of awareness and interest in artistic activities as a cultural and social institution aims to raise awareness of art and cultural heritage and Civilization in diverse and appealing styles among different categories of museum visitors and the general public.
Moreover, on her part, Ms Fayrouz Fakry, Vice President of the Museum’s Board for Management and Employment, said that many museum visitors from different age groups participated in the workshop.
The authorities of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization have indicated that the museum is set to see more such activities in the coming period, especially in Taza,

Additionally, an art specialist at the museum, Professor Nermin Mustafa, conveyed that the workshop included a scientific lecture during which we got to know the calendar of different civilizations.
