Pakistan: If I were Henry Kissinger, I would write a treatise ‘On India,’ such has been the growth and monumental change seen in the fortune of India as an emerging nation, which made it a global player in the world.

The following piece of opinion has been shared by the Pakistan political, security and defence analyst Shahzad Chaudhary via The Express Tribune.

As per the piece of opinion written by the Pakistan-based political, security and defence analyst Shahzad Chaudhary, it has been stated that whether Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a disliked figure in Pakistan, he has been immensely successful in his operations and conduct towards making India a brand worldwide, which no other leader has done for the nation.

In his remarks, Shahzad Chaudhary added, “Under the guidance of Modi, India has achieved its potential position in world affairs and matters and reached new heights of global accomplishments. Under the agreed kosher.”

Furthermore, Shahzad pointed out the mindset of the Pakistani government, as India is a close ally of the United States and making its relations more prominent with time while Pakistanis are sitting in a delusion and criticizing the US.

In addition, India is the only nation which trades Russian oil freely with Russia on preferred terms under the sanctions of America, then earns a million dollars through re-exporting it to an old patron.

“The two major rival superpowers of the globe are considering India as their ally,” said Shahzad. Everything unites at a word called ‘Relevance’, and India has been known as a perfect example of it in every possible manner, and what matters for the world.

Under Modi’s leadership, India has become a prominent part of the world that has its say in global matters, as its economy ranks fifth and is predicted to touch the milestone of third largest by the year 2037.

Moreover, Shahzad stated that India is fourth in foreign exchange reserves worth over 600 billion USD, whereas Pakistan holds just 4.5. After China, the GDP growth rate becomes the best-performing economy.

In terms of Military firepower, India ranks third largest along with its position of second largest armed forces.

“The global list of billionaires and Business tycoons has 140 Indians, of which four are included in the top 100”. Which is only going to increase in the future as well, said Shahzad.

India has leading industries around the world in different sectors, from defence to telecom, which have grown in the world at a rapid pace and become globally recognized names.

On his part, Shahzad Chaudhary further wrote in his opinion piece that Pakistan has its own set of challenges to deal with while the neighbour countries are developing rapidly.

Under Modi’s leadership, countries are making notable investments. For example, Saudi Arabia has announced an investment of more than 72 billion dollars while Pakistan begs it to invest the promised 7 billion.

Besides, 10 million dollars has been pledged by Pakistan’s iron brother, China, in the latest donor conference to help Pakistan get out of the financial crisis and risk of bankruptcy.

Shahzad further wrote that an unbridgeable gap has formed between India and Pakistan; while India has reached new heights, Pakistan is still struggling with basic problems.

We can ignore the fact, but the truth is that India has wiped the floor with Pakistan by rescinding Article 370 of its constitution in Kashmir, giving the state a special status. Said, Shahzad.

Pakistan needs to adopt the way of conduct which India has been following and should learn about the economic activities going on in the neighbourhood. The nation is only better when stabler, Shahzad added.

Over and above all, India has a remarkable image at a global level. Our neighbour country is addressing and hosting a global south summit to tackle the climate change challenges by joining other developing nations.

India has a pathway to success in different domains; even when it faces difficulties, it comes up with solutions and asserts its presence in the world.

“It’s high time that Pakistan recalibrates the policies and approach towards India and become bold enough to initiate a tri-nation consensus along with China”. Said, Shahzad.
