Egypt: The Treasures, burials and antiquities of the Arab world Organization have recently shared the research studies conducted by scientists regarding the strangest Island, popularly known as Easter Island, located in the South Pacific Ocean, which is part of Chile.
Archaeologists and scientists have stated that “This island is isolated from the world and is the strangest island on Earth, “There is no motive behind building statues that have no civilization behind them indicating who made them”.
As per the reports, scientists need clarification regarding the existence of such a strange Island in the region of the South Pacific Ocean. In addition, the Island was discovered by accident in 1722 AD and was named by the Dutch Admiral Jacob Rogiven in 1722 the name of Resurrection Island, where it reached on the Day of Resurrection (Easter).
The statues on the Island are “specifically” human models; some have a round cap around the head weighing only 10 tons, and each figure represents only the head and trunk, and sometimes “arms and no legs.”
“These statues have been made from volcanic ash after being pressed, polished, levelled, and most of them range from 3.5 meters to 6 meters, while some of them are sprayed to a height of 12 meters and weigh as much as 62 tons, scientists have not yet been able to explain the mystery of these statues common in all Somewhere on the island especially on its shores” explained scientists.
Archaeologists have conveyed that the precision of the carving of these rocks is manifested in that they are carved from one piece of stone, which contains fine details, and a number of them face towards the coast, and others face the inside of the Island.
Notably, “Some of the statues were not completed, and the Island was abandoned after a mysterious disaster for the islanders, where all the islanders disappeared and then years came. The Island has peoples from the French Marques Islands and settled in the northwestern part of the Resurrection Island”.
In the end, the statutes currently constitute the inhabitants of this Island, which previously witnessed mysterious historical events and are now its current inhabitants, as they call these statues Muai. Statues at night look so creepy”.
