Bahrain: The Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr Jaleela Jawad Hassan, joined the Head of the Committee for Culture and Archaeology, Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa to visit several historical buildings and facilities belonging to the Ministry of Health on Yesterday, February 12th, 2023.
As per the reports, the Health Minister and Chairman of the Culture and Archaeology Committee visited the historical sites in Bahrain to enquire about the development plans for these buildings.
In addition, Both ministers emphasized the development of the facilities within the framework of Consistent efforts and joint endeavours aimed at preserving the heritage and historical nature of buildings and utilizing them for optimal exploitation.
The reports have claimed that during the inspection visit, which included the old Ministry of Health buildings, the old northern building at the Salmaniyah Medical Complex, and the buildings of the Psychiatric Hospital, the Minister of Health emphasized the government’s continued vigilance to strengthen the health sector.
Additionally, Health Minister Dr Jaleela also pointed out the Ministry’s response to all levels that undermine its progress and ensure the sustainability of its services as a sign of continuing work within the One Bahrain Facility Development Team Health facilities in all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Furthermore, the officials also stated that the continuous work enhances the quality of government service provided to citizens and residents while preserving the rich historical heritage of the Kingdom of Bahrain throughout its prosperous career of achievements and achievements.
During the visit, Health Minister Dr Jaleela Jawad Hassan was accompanied by the Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, Chairman of the Bahrain Culture and Archaeology Board. Dr Jaleela and Abdullah Al-Khalifa completed the tour with their delegations and discussed the important aspects of the development of such buildings.
For his part, Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa, head of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Archaeology, stressed the importance of preserving the ancient and historic Ministry of Health buildings which reflect an important part of the contemporary history of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In the end, he noted that Bahraini heritage embodies real wealth that must be invested in and developed.
