Jordan: Implementing the Supreme Royal Directions, Prime Minister Dr Bashar Al-Khasaouna begins a series of inspection field tours to service institutions and development projects in the governorates of Al-Zarqa Governorate.
According to the reports, Prime Minister Dr Bashar Al-Khasaouna on Thursday began a series of inspection field tours of public service institutions and development projects covering all governorates of the Kingdom under the supreme royal directives to intensify field work and serve citizens.
In addition, the Prime Minister inspects the work progress of the two ecological garden projects and the Pepsi Pond in Al-Zarqa rehabilitation and is directed to expedite their completion. During his visit, the PM inspected Prince Faisal Government Hospital and stressed the need to provide citizens the best medical and health services.
The Prime Minister began his field tours with a visit to Al-Zarqa Governorate. He checked the progress of the two environmental park projects and the Pepsi Pond site rehabilitation and the Prince Faisal Governmental Hospital said reports.
Furthermore, during his tour at the site of the Eco Park / one of the projects of the Supreme Royal Initiatives, the Prime Minister addressed the need to expedite the completion of the project and inaugurate it as a halt for the people of Zarqa Governorate and the surrounding areas.
Reports confirmed that it was also directed to ensure the facilities are ready and provide all services to the park passers before the operation, from vehicle parking, transport service, and public safety, especially in children’s playgrounds, health facilities, etc.
Additionally, Prime Minister Bashar Al-Khasaouna heard a briefing from the project holders on the workflow and readiness of its facilities, who confirmed the completion rate had reached nearly (96%).
The eco-park project is being built on an area of approximately (74) dunma, under the Phosphate Hills Rehabilitation project, with a total cost of JD (2.5) million.
Meanwhile, the project is designed as a healthy and vibrant environmental area; to be naturally breathable to the residents of the site, and it includes a canopy, outdoor seating, children’s play areas, sports fields, outdoor theatre, walking areas, and provides its wearers with the necessary services of health units and service facilities.
Notably, the project is surrounded by green areas and agricultural basins and includes rare plants and trees that can withstand a dry climate.
During his inspection of the Pepsi Pond rehabilitation project, Prime Minister Dr Bashar Al-Khasaouna assured the need to complete the project before the end of this year; to address the existing environmental situation once and for all in accordance with the best environmental standards and specifications.
Amman’s Secretary, Dr Youssef Al-Shwarba, also briefed the Prime Minister on the project’s progress, where Al-Shwarbah confirmed that it would be completed by October 2 this year.
The Prime Minister also listened to an explanation from the staff working on the project about the mechanism being operated on to address the environmental problem that has existed for decades radically.
During his brief visit to Prince Faisal Government Hospital, the Prime Minister stressed the need to provide the best medical and health services to the citizens and all the necessities to operate the hospital at its maximum capacity.
The Prime Minister visited the hospital departments and listened to the observers’ remarks on the reality of services rendered to them.
I also listened to a briefing by Hospital Director Dr Ghazi Sharks on the reality of the hospital’s medical and health services. I highlighted the needs needed to improve the standard of services offered to citizens.
The number of annual auditors of the Prince Faisal Governmental Hospital in Zarqa Governorate is estimated at (450) thousand reviews, and the number of its families (169) beds, currently occupancy is (84%). The number of specialized physicians is (71) doctors, and the number of nursing and administrative staff is (570) employees.
In the end, during his field tours in Zarqa Governorate, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration Tawfiq Krishan, Minister of Health Dr Faras Al-Hawari, Minister of Environment Dr Muawya Al-Radaidaida, and Secretary of Amman Dr Youssef Al-Shwarba.
