Bahrain: The Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr Jaleela Jawad Hassan, has recently welcomed the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kim’s Health Board and praised the private sector of the Kingdom’s health system.
According to the sources, the Ministry of Health of Bahrain took it to share the updates regarding the meeting through its official social media handle. The officials conveyed that Health Minister Dr Jaleela Hassan received Mr Ahmed Jawahri, Chairman of KIMS Health Board and his accompanying delegation.
The reports also confirmed that, during the meeting, the Health Minister, Hassan noted the supportive and complementary role of all hospitals, medical centres and private sector to serve the health system in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which comes within a framework consistent with the implementation of the Kingdom’s health insurance system.
Furthermore, she also praised Kim’s active partnership and ongoing support in the provision of comprehensive and specialized healthcare services in service to members of the Bahrain community and in a competitive manner to citizens and residents of the Kingdom.
Moreover, she was delighted by the role and contributions of Kim’s Health administration during the global spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
During the meeting, several aspects regarding the researched and reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the sides in various medical specialities, medical experiences, investment in the health sector and medical tourism were discussed.
Along with this, polarized a number of top approved training programs and more competencies of national medical personnel to enhance the quality and efficiency of health services provided in the health sector were also talked over.
In the end, on his part, Mr Ahmed Jawahri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kim’s Health, expressed his deep thanks and appreciation for the happiness of the Minister of Health and for the support of Kim’s Health.
He also expressed his aspirations to achieve further success and open the horizons of joint cooperation during the next stages of the development of the health sector in Bahrain.
