The Ministry, with a dedicated team on the ground, is actively monitoring the health status of the injured Emirati couple.

In a statement, Mofa pledged unwavering support and healthcare provisions for the victims in close collaboration with Czech authorities.

The injured UAE nationals will receive the necessary medical attention as part of the joint efforts to address the aftermath of this tragic incident.

The bloodshed occurred within the confines of the philosophy department building of Charles University, where the assailant, a student of the institution, unleashed terror.

Prague Police Chief Martin Vondrasek revealed that the gunman, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, also succumbed to the violence.

Initially, Vondrasek reported 15 fatalities and 24 injuries but later revised the figures to 14 deaths and 25 injuries without providing a clear explanation for the change.

In response to the crisis, Mofa swiftly issued an advisory to Emiratis in the vicinity, urging caution and advising them to steer clear of the incident site.

The Ministry also implored its citizens to adhere to safety instructions disseminated by Czech authorities as the situation unfolds.

The tragic incident in Prague has prompted global concern, and the UAE government is actively engaged in diplomatic efforts to ensure the well-being of its citizens affected by this senseless act of violence.

The international community is closely watching as authorities in the Czech Republic strive to comprehend the motives behind the attack and work towards preventing future tragedies.

As the world mourns the lives lost in this horrific event, the focus remains on providing immediate support to the victims and their families while the broader implications of this shocking act reverberate on the global stage.
