The inaugural Egypt International Airshow saw global aerospace giant Boeing showcasing its state-of-the-art defense and commercial aircraft, underscoring its long-standing commitment to the Egyptian market.

Boeing’s participation highlighted not only its technological advancements but also the deep-rooted relationships it has cultivated across Egypt and the broader Middle East and Africa regions.

Boeing’s commitment to Egypt’s defense sector has been particularly visible in recent years. In early 2023, Boeing secured a contract to produce 12 new CH-47F Chinook helicopters for the Egyptian Air Force, a significant upgrade that will enhance the country’s heavy-lift helicopter capabilities.
