Palestine gets Kuwait’s support against Israel

In a recent development, the lawmakers of Kuwait supported Palestine. At least forty-five legislators of Kuwait expressed their total support for the Palestinian people. These lawmakers also termed the conflict as a result of atrocities suffered by the Palestinian people.

In a joint statement contained that , the recent eruption of class events is a normal response to Zionist occupiers and their atrocities.

They also called the Palestinian attack a “legitimate and right act” in response to the crimes committed by the Zionist occupiers against Palestinian people and holy places of Islam, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

They even claimed the action of Hamas totally conforms to international law. The international humanitarian law gives everyone a right to act if their rights are violated repeatedly. In the same joint statement, the legislator called upon Arab and Muslim peoples to support the Palestinian people.

In an individual statement, MP Marzouq Al-Ghanem said that the Palestinian cause will never buried because it is “a doctrine in the heart of all Muslims”, and all Muslims regarded it as a holy fight. He also added that those who still are unaware of the miseries of Palestine people. “should review their stance”.

Meanwhile, Kuwait’s athletes who are participating in the Asian Games donned the Palestinian keffiyeh in a show of solidarity with Palestine during the closing ceremony of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, on Sunday.

This act of Kuwait’s sportsperson reflects Kuwait’s principled stance in support of Palestinians’ rights and their difficult war against the Israeli occupation.

meanwhile, Kuwait’s Ministry of Social Affairs started an urgent relief campaign for the Palestinian people due to the current events; it has invited social, religious, and non-profit organisations to come forward for help to Palestine.

Kuwait also called that the  resistanceby palestinian  “in all forms possible” enabled them to counter the ongoing Zionist aggressions and crimes against Palestinian people.

In another development, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan Hamad Al-Marri hands Kuwait’s contributed  $2 million to UNRWA Acting Director of External Relations Tamara Alrifai.

He also called on Arab and Islamic governments across the world to back the struggle of the Palestinian to regain their legal rights.

The ambassador of Kuwait confirmed that Kuwaiti aid is in “accordance with the permanent directives of the high political leadership and on the instructions of the Kuwaiti government while stressing the ‘firm’ position of Kuwait on supporting the Palestinian cause and committed to helping the humanitarian situation of Palestinian refugees currently living in refugees campus of the region.

Kuwait’s sufficient funding to UNRWA will enable this international agency to carry out its mandate and maintain all critical services like , contribution for  the well-being and feeling of stability of Palestinian refugees in the refugee camps, Alrifai said.

“UNRWA is thankful to Kuwait’s government and people for their kindness and solidarity, and the constant contribution is a very welcoming step and will encourage other partners to come forward,” UNRWA acting director  added. UNRWA serves Palestinian refugees across its five fields of operation in the conflict Zone.
