Doha: The Organizing Committee of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar revealed, on Monday, the date of the arrival of the first of the 32 teams participating in the tournament, as the Japanese team’s delegation will arrive in Doha on the seventh of next November, in preparation for participating in the global forum.
The World Cup drew the Samurai team in Group G along with Spain, Costa Rica and Germany.
Colin Smith, Executive Director of World Cup Operations at the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), indicated that 24 of the 32 teams will be located within 10 kilometers only, noting that the World Cup in Qatar is based on the convergence of distances, which allows the teams to move easily and smoothly. in a small barrier.
He said: Every place of residence will indicate the identity of the national team in which he resides through distinctive decorations and designs and in bright colors, and all players will feel as if they are in their second home, where they will have all the comforts.
Colin Smith stressed that the stadiums in the World Cup are of high quality, and it is the first priority in this special edition.
Smith explained that there will be 74 training and match pitches for all teams and referees as well, and 8 stadiums will be allocated for all matches.
He continued, “The floor of each stadium is world-class and equipped with a technological system that helps preserve the grass, and has modern technology that can achieve the appropriate lighting for all stadiums.
