Bahrain: Her Excellency Dr. Jalila the daughter of Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, chaired the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in the work of the Eighth Meeting of His Excellency the Ministers of Health of the Arab Gulf States and the 85th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Health Held in Riyadh during the period from 21-22 October 2022.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Minister of Health delivered a speech expressing her deep gratitude and appreciation for the fruitful and distinguished efforts made in organizing the work of these important meetings and achieving shared Gulf goals.
The Minister of Health noted that the work of the meetings included various axes that are closely correlated with the development of leading Gulf health models to further the progress of the Gulf health sectors in meeting the ambitions, health goals, and growth.
The Minister pointed out the importance of continuing to strengthen Gulf health cooperation and developing bilateral coordination pathways to ensure the improvement of the Gulf health sector and the level of efficiency of systems and procedures in place alongside health services provided in Council countries.
During the meeting, the Council’s performance report for 2022, the projects and budget for 2023 were reviewed, as well as the decisions of his excellency ministers and a number of important topics, projects and joint initiatives.
