Israel: The staff of senior command and Fire and rescue Commissioner Rabbi Tafsar Eyal Caspi took farewell from the Israel Fire and Rescue Service on 22nd November.
The internal security minister of Israel, Omer Bar-Lev, disclosed the update yesterday on his official social media handle. Deputy Minister Yoav Sglovich and the senior members of the Minister’s Department also rested their responsibilities as the officials of the Fire and Rescue Service of Israel.
The officials visited the National Kirya for Fire and Rescue in Rishon LeTsiyon for their farewell ceremony. The Minister of Internal Security of Israel indicated that he felt profound pride in working with the excellent people of the chain of command led by the commissioner, Rabbi Tafsar Eyal Caspi.

Omer Bar-Lev, Israeli Internal Security Minister, said the farewell ceremony was conducted in a friendly and companionable environment accompanied by the department’s other officers. They connected to the place personally and shared their fond memories attached to the place and work.
He felt deep gratitude towards the work of the firefighters. The fighters have worked in extreme and complex conditions. He added that they risk their lives daily to keep the country’s people safe. The minister mentioned the technological advancements in the firefighting system, which effectively helped the service. The quality of recruited firefighters has been increasing with time, and the innovations in rescue techniques are adding an edge to the service.
Moreover, Omer Bar-Lev uploaded several photographs from the farewell ceremony. The Fire and Rescue Service of Israel presented the retiring personnel with farewell handouts to express their profound respects for their time and efforts in the department.
Additionally, the tasks and challenges appointed to the Ministry of Internal Security officials were signed on the terms of professional, personal and operational cooperation among all.
Bar-Lev expressed his gratitude towards the performed duties and responsibilities of the retiring officials during their serving period. He further addressed the challenges and difficulties they had faced in their daily responsibilities.
The Fire and Rescue Service officials had served the nation with enormous work and dedication till their last day. The Internal Security Minister noted that the department deals with challenging fire and rescue incidents on an emergency note.
