King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the supreme commander of the Bahrain armed forces, saluted armed forces members who lost their lives in the line of duty. These Bahraini soldiers lost their lives in a drone attack .
Drone Attacks were carried out by Houti militants of Yemen. The drone attack targeted the Bahraini troops at the Saudi Arabia-Yeman border.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reaffirmed that the great sacrifices made by the Bahrain armed forces will be remembered forever in the history of Bahrain. These soldiers were part of coalition forces that were fighting against the Houthi militants of Yemen.
The sacrifices of these soldiers will be a source of inspiration for their families as well as the armed brothers.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa also mentioned that it was a great honour to sacrifice life while defending the land of two holy mosques.
The supreme commander of the armed forces visited the families of two soldiers of BDF’s task force who sacrificed.
The first is Lieutenant Hamad Khalifa Al Kubasi, and the second is warrant officer is Adam Salem Naseeb.
Both of them lost life as a result of an act of aggression when they were on duty within the Arab coalition’s operation.
Houthi militants are a member of the Houthi movement,it is an Islamist political and armed organisation that has its origin in the Saada governorate in 1990.
Houti is a tribe, and their movement is predominantly a Zaidi Shia force whose leadership is drawn from the Houthi tribes at large levels.
King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa extended his condolences and sympathy to the late BDF service members’ families. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest their soul in eternal peace and bless their relatives with patience and fortitude.
He also wished for the speedy recovery of soldiers who sustained injury in the militant drone attack. At the same time, bereaved families also expressed their appreciation and gratitude to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for offering them condolences and sympathy, wishing his majesty good health and long life.
