Dubai: The Dubai Police, represented by the Dubai Police Academy, has recently been awarded the ISO 21001:2018 certification for Educational Organizations Management System.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander in Chief of Dubai Police and Chairman of Dubai Police Academy, received the Educational Organizations Management System certificate from Mr. P. Thalai Malai Rajan, Director for Knowledge Solutions- Arabian Peninsula Region at SGS Company, in the presence of Major General Dr Ghaith Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic Affairs and Training; Brigadier Prof. Dr. Mohammed Butti Al Shamsi, Acting Director of the Academy, and a group of officers and employees from both sides.
Lt. Gn. Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri praised the high level of efficiency, excellence, and efforts of the Dubai Police Academy in implementing the best international standards and practices in the field of and obtaining this accreditation in the Educational Organizations Management System.
He pointed out that this achievement is a testament of Dubai Police’s continuous efforts toward building a more robust and efficient organisation.
Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Dr. Al Suwaidi stressed the keenness of the Dubai Police, per the directives of HE L.t Gen. Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to implement best practices and adopt the international standards to provide high-quality services for the employees of the Force. “The Academy also strives to improve the cadets’ job performance and develop their capabilities,” he concluded.
