Kuwait’s government has removed many COVID-19 restrictions in Kuwait, including a ban on foreign travel. This is a move that will be going to apply to those who are not vaccinated, said Prime Minister ‘Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid al-Sabah, on February 14, Monday.
However, there are still some restrictions in the country, especially on those who are still not vaccinated, they have to go through a PCR test 72 hours before boarding to flight to the Gulf Arab State, and they also need to go from a quarantine period of at least seven days after they arrive in the country, however, who are vaccinated does not need to do all these things.
Moreover, some of the restrictions government will lift from next week in which they would include allowing the unvaccinated to enter shopping malls and inside cinemas, theatres and banquet halls only if they have their negative PCR reports.
Before that, anyone who wants to visit Kuwait needs to show their negative report and be required to go in a quarantine period for at least ten days. Those who are fully vaccinated arrivals will be required to quarantine for seven days. Travellers who receive negative results from their PCR test arrival can finish quarantine earlier.
The country is still suffering from COVID-19 infections. As per the statistics on February 13 country recorded new covid cases, and it was 2,268. Total cases are present in 6.01 L, and the death rate in Kuwait is 2,520.
Worldwide cases of Covid right now are 41.2 crore, and deaths due to covid are 58.2 L.
Kuwait is ready to take its booster shot, and most of the country is fully vaccinated from both doses.
