Kuwait city: According to the Kuwait International Airport sources, in-bound, fully vaccinated, partially vaccinated and not vaccinated passengers would be treated as par with other citizens. This decision will be implemented from February 20 Sunday.
The following conditions apply for those who are fully vaccinated — the cancellation of the ‘PCR’ test before arriving in the country; cancellation of the PCR test upon appearance in the country; and revocation of the home quarantine after coming in the country.
Those who are partly vaccinated – do not need to go for a PCR test before coming into the country; moreover, home quarantine is still necessary for seven days after they arrive in the country with the possibility of ending the quarantine before time is they performed the PCR and make sure that the person is virus-free.
The people who are not vaccinated- conducting a PCR test 72 hours before taking the flight just to make sure that the traveller is free from infection of the Coronavirus, and home quarantine for seven days after their arrival is mandatory and taking self PCR test on the seventh day is also essential to end the quarantine period, and that will also help the person to know them that they are virus-free. However, children under the age of 16 are excluded from this requirement.
In a circular addressed to all airlines operating at the Kuwait International Airport, the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation had said limited entry for non-vaccinated people to citizens only.
According to the health authorities’ guidelines, “all passengers are allowed to exist without any health conditions related to the Coronavirus, provided they meet requirements of the country to which they are leaving for.
The passengers who did not receive the anti-Corona virus vaccine or receive the one dose only are also called not vaccinated, but they can still travel to 45 countries.
As per the resources and information collected from the Kuwait official resources and embassies, the majority of them only need negative PCR reports before giving you entry into the country, while some want PCR tests and mandatory quarantine after their arrival.
Norway and Jordan did not impose any restrictions on the country. The countries that demand PCR test include Turkey, UAE, Netherlands, Egypt, Russia, Switzerland, Syria, Lebanon, Portugal, Seychelles, Algeria, Angola, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Guinea, Senegal, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Poland, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Mexico, India and Bangladesh. Countries that ask for PCR tests + compulsory quarantine are Romania, France, Georgia, Italy, Thailand, Britain, Qatar, Tunisia, Cyprus and Sri Lanka.
