Qatar: The German government has taken an exceptional decision due to the dates of the 2022 World Cup matches, which will be hosted by the State of Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022.
The Federal Council, the legislative body representing the sixteen states of Germany, agreed to allow German mass gatherings to follow the 2022 World Cup matches, which are held late every day.
Normally, the regulations for protection against inconvenience prevent any gatherings from continuing after 10 pm local time, but the “Bundesrat” agreed to a temporary change in the rules because most of the matches that will be held in the World Cup in Qatar will end late for Germany.
Germany will play in Group E at the 2022 World Cup, along with Costa Rica, Spain and Japan.
The German team is seeking to crown the title for the fifth time in its history, to equal the record held by the Brazilian team.
