Bahrain: Bahrain Health Ministry Her Excellency Dr Jalila, daughter of Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, emphasized the importance of mental health and the importance of spreading awareness around the aspects of mental health and continuing nailing community efforts between all related sectors to raise the level of psychological health services as a key focus One of the pillars of achieving the concept of comprehensive health.
This came at His Excellency the Minister of Health opening the exhibition “Be Rest assured” organized by the Psychiatric Hospital under the slogan Mental Health and Welfare is a Global Priority for All at the News Complex during the period from 3rd to 4th November 2022, in the presence of a number of officials who ensure the exhibition is right Multiple awareness campaigns and video presentation of the most important achievements of the hospital.
Psychiatry, as the Minister of Health, launched initiatives to develop research in which a number of national competencies participated at both domestic and external levels.
His Excellency the Minister confirmed that the Ministry of Health had paid significant attention to the mental health sector by supporting and consolidating all programmes and initiatives related to promoting mental health and consolidating them among strategic planning priorities, with attention to training health personnel to provide all specialities and ensuring to obtain competitive, high quality psychological services of internationally accredited standards.
The exhibition contained several stations such as guidance, education and psychological testing station, a nursing service station for biometrics and an entertainment station for children with many challenges and competitions.
