Chairman hails accreditation of primary health care centers of Bahrain

Bahrain: His Excellency Doctor Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Health, praised the adoption of primary health care centres as the first government health system with national accreditation, noting that this is one of the achievements added to the achievements of primary health care centres, Completing the National Accreditation of the Health Professionals Organization after Its licensing for all primary healthcare centres, and passing inspection visits to health facilities by the end of 2021.

The approval of primary health care centres comes within the framework of the commitment of all government health facilities in the Kingdom with Article Four of Resolution No. (4) issued in the year 2020, which states the need to achieve this.

This type of cooperation between both primary health care centres and the National Occupational Organization and Health Licensing Authority aims to ensure health centers’ commitment to the highest standards of quality and safety, which ensures health for all is safe and quality that is in line with the best standards.
