Cairo: Last month, the Kuwait Ministry of Education showed their needs for the local contracts for the academic year 2022-2023, especially for the holders of university qualifications to work in public education schools, in English, French, mathematics, science, chemistry, physics, biology, geology, philosophy, and decoration disciplines in addition to music education.
On March 18, with the help of sources, it was reported that now, finally, Kuwait has started receiving applications from non-Kuwaiti residents to employ 1000 new foreign teachers so that they can work on the shortages in certain specialities.
However, Al-Qabas showed their expectation that they would soon receive applicants after they announced the announcement made by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, ‘Dr Ali Yaqoub’, which was expected to be quickly and ruled out any delay in the official announcement of local contracts, unlike previous years.
And they announced on the official website of the Ministry of Education after their national holidays and then began to sign contracts with more than 1,000 teachers, and they need 1000 teachers to teach 11 subjects.
The Education Ministry has stated that it has vacancies for non-Kuwaiti teachers for the next school year to teach 11 different subjects, Al Qabas added.
They mainly need some extraordinary teachers and specialities for male candidates, including English, French, math, science, physics, biology, geology, philosophy and decoration.
They showed their demand for female teachers who are good in music, physics, math and English. Applications are presented via the ministry’s website on a local contracting link.
The authorities even made an announcement of the local teachers who belong to Kuwait only, and they did it annually during February and March. The procedure of selecting local teachers is done before starting the new academic year.
According to the announcement of local contracts for the academic year 2022-2023, a copy of which was obtained by Al-Qabas, applicants must attach to the experience required to accept their documents in all subjects, except the female music education major, where the incident was limited to three years for those with non-educational qualifications and two years for those with educational qualifications.
