Kuwait: The head of the Kuwaiti Hajj delegation and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Farid Emadi, affirmed that all members of the mission are ready to receive the pilgrims of the State of Kuwait.

In a speech upon his arrival at the mission headquarters in Makkah Al-Mukarramah yesterday, Thursday, Emadi praised all the efforts made by the members of the mission during the past days, stressing that “this matter is not strange to them, but it was expected.”

He said, “I follow your news and the activities and works that you do first and foremost, and all of this pleased me and made me happy because he assured us that the mission is proceeding according to the plan drawn up for it and that success will be its ally, God willing.”

He pointed out that many members of the mission now have extensive experience, in addition to the presence of a number of new members this year, with the aim of providing them with experience so that the mission can continue its work in an outstanding manner.

Emadi stressed the need to “continue in the same vein and work in the spirit of one team, as it has been throughout the past years, as everyone has been accustomed to so that success can be harvested. It is strange for the mission that was accustomed to that with the Kuwaiti campaigns.”

He continued: “For all of this, and through what we have seen and seen with our own eyes and what we feel, we confirm that all members of the mission are ready to receive the pilgrims of the State of Kuwait in the Holy Land, to carry out the tasks entrusted to them and to represent their country, Kuwait.”

He added, “Today is the first of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, and perhaps one of the best deeds in which one can draw closer to God Almighty in such blessed days is serving the guests of the Most Merciful.” Sovereignty and high position is one of the greatest closeness by which a Muslim draws close to his Lord.

Emadi expressed his thanks to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which works to serve pilgrims, as well as the great facilities it provides to them, starting from their arrival in the Kingdom until the end of the Hajj season.

The reception was attended by Deputy Head of Mission Muhammad Al-Mutairi, a religious guide in the mission, Dr Khaled Al-Otaibi, religious guide in the mission, Abdul Salam Al-Failakawi, and heads of teams and committees participating in the mission.
